They think there is a scientifically unsupportable amount of hype associated with the worldwide concern about climate change. These customers point to prior ice ages and warming trends that started long before the internal combustion engine was ever invented. They do not believe there is a correlation between Co2 levels and temperatures. They point to phenomenum outside of human control (the sun for example) as a cause for global warming. Oftentimes these customers buy an EcoFart™ FartPass™ from FartGreen™ to memorialize the "insanity" of the "fringe" environmental movement.

Our third group of customers we call the "Truly Entertained"...

This is currently the largest segment of our customer base. These customers see only the humor in an organization offering to lower their Flatulence Footprint™. They come equally from both the "True Skeptic" and "True Believer" point of view, but are overwhelmed by the Guilt Free Gas™ aspect of our products. Is FartGreen™ a non-profit initiative?

No. FartGreen™ is very much a FOR PROFIT organization. FartGreen™ is a market-based concept that promotes the development of efficient, renewable clean energy to clean our air and remove harmful greenhouse gases. We provide individuals a way to access the same market forces that large businesses are using to reduce their negative environmental impacts. All of us at FartGreen™ believe that individuals should have do what they can to take direct action toward improving the environment. Thankfully now we are all aware of the dangers of global warming. FartGreen™ provides a way to take action to reduce your flatulence footprint™ and help heal the earth.

FartGreen's goal is to invest approximately 70% of our NET PROFITS back into verifiable, efficient, renewable clean energy technologies or operations.

How does FartGreen™ find projects to finance?

We are currently looking for ecologically positive energy projects to support. We would specifically like to focus on Methane Gas remuneration projects. Is FartGreen™ a "permit" to fart in public?

Absolutely not. It goes without saying that one should continue to exercise restraint in public to maintain proper decorum and abide by all social norms. An EcoFart™FartPass is intended to offset the negative effects of your methane emissions. It will not eliminate the unpleasant consequences of your flatulence for others in your immediate vicinity. Please be SmarterFarter™ and a good ambassador for FartGreen. We have created FartGreen™ to help individuals who want to take responsibility for their gas emissions and how they affect everyone's environment. FartGreen™ is unique because it allows citizens to help offset the negative environmental impact caused by a natural biological process of daily life - farting.

How did you come up with your pricing and product levels?

Our prices are ultimately very arbitrary because it is impossible to measure and bill individuals for their daily gas production. So basically it is a market price between a willing seller (FartGreen.com) and a willing buyer (You). Importantly, FartGreen™ makes no warranties, representations or guarantees that we can offset the negative environmental impact of your flatulence by our investments in earth friendly energy projects. But of course any money invested in these projects is a very small positive step forward to reducing global warming. We have attempted to make broad biological calculations for different categories of individuals. Methane gas production from flatulence is such an individual characteristic and varies over time and even day to day as we all know. Therefore it is literally impossible to price these EcoFart™ FartPass™ credits individually without installation of a monitoring device. The variability of pollution is analogous to two motorist driving the same make and model car. Because individual driving habits vary from motorist to motorist it is impossible to accurately predict their consumption of gasoline and their Co2 output - even if they drive the exact same number of miles! The bottom line is the more people buying FartPass's, the more money FartGreen™ will have to invest in clean energy projects to help reduce global warming.

What gases are covered in the FartGreen™ program?

As we mentioned our focus is to invest in renewable clean energy projects that reduce greenhouse gas emisions with a particular focus on methane gas remuneration. So your EcoFart™ FartPass™ will reduce a mix of pollutants known to cause global warming. The exact ratio of these gases in the portfolio is unpredictable. Accordingly, FartGreen's only claim is to reduce overall greenhouse gas emisions by investing in clean air projects and technologies.

Yes. FartGreen™ will happily refund the entire amount of your purchase if you can provide a sworn and signed declaration from your personal physician, testifying as a medical professional, to the fact that you have not passed gas for an entire calendar year.

Is farting the only activity I need to be concerned about?

No, of course not. But it is a start.

FartGreen™ recommends that you not only analyze your Flatulence Footprint - but also take an inventory of your carbon footprint. Try to drive less if you own a car. Make your next automobile purchase a higher mileage hybrid vehicle. We encourage you to look into using mercury free compact fluorescent light bulbs to replace your current incandescent lighting. Also see if you can carpool or use public transportation occasionally or telecommute to work when possible. Raise your thermostat in the summer and lower it a bit in the winter. We can all make a difference together even when we act in seemingly small ways. Buying an EcoFart™ FartPass™ is an excellent first step. Don't be shy.
